Archie’s solicitations this month are all digests and classic story trade paperbacks. The only single issue out this month is the one-shot “Archie & Friends: Summer Vacation.”

DC Comics this month features a follow-up to their top-selling Raven and Beast Boy graphic novels with this volume, “Beast Boy Loves Raven.” I wouldn’t be surprised to see this one end up on the New York Times graphic novel best seller list, too.

Jessica Cruz is also getting a graphic novel this month. “Unearthed” focuses on Cruz as a young student who does well in school, but worries about her undocumented immigrant parents, as well as I.C.E. and xenophobic politicians. I imagine the certain segments online who didn’t like the Starfire graphic novel or are paranoid about “SJWs” supposedly “ruining” superhero comics won’t like this one. Never mind that superheroes are supposed to be fighting for justice.

“Thor & Loki: Double Trouble” is a non-canon, all-ages story about, well, Thor and Loki, and the trouble both get into (no thanks to Loki). Also appearing: the Jane Foster version of Thor.

“Marvel’s Voices: Legacy” is a collection of different stories focusing on the diverse corners of the Marvel Universe, including Ironheart, Black Panther, Storm, Blade, and more. Stories collected include:

  • “Marvel’s Voices: Legacy” #1 (2021)
  • “Black Panther” #1 (2016)
  • “Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” #1 (2015)
  • “Black Panther” #23-25 (2018)
  • “Marvel’s Voices” #1 (2020)

There’s also some other material, such as Black History Month variant covers. Marvel even has a trailer on YouTube advertising the 2021 version of “Legacy”:
