For this week’s Mac entry, I thought I’d list some of my favorite Mac-related websites I visit for information. Some of them are sites I used to use back on my pre-Linux Mac days, others I’ve recently started reading more frequently:
- TUAW (The Unofficial Apple Weblog): A site covering a whole range of Apple news, including software/hardware reviews, articles on various topics, and a list of software updates or sales.
- MacInTouch: A site that’s a bit plainer than others, mostly covering software and hardware updates.
There’s also the usual tech sites I read, which cover Apple news/tech as well:
Along with the above, I also have digital subscriptions to a few Mac magazines, which also have websites:
In my pre-Linux Mac days, I used to read MacAddict (which is now Mac|Life) and MacUser, which merged with its then-rival MacWorld. However, a magazine by the MacUser name still exists in the UK (and is sold at bigger newsstands here).
Another decent and (very) long-running Mac news site is TidBITS.
