A new refresh of the Ubuntu family of distros, 12.04 (Precise Pangolin), is due this Thursday. This includes, of course, Xubuntu for Xfce fans.
While there’s no earth-shattering changes to Xubuntu coming, it is a Long Term Services release, meaning it’ll stay supported for the next three years (shorter than the five years regular Ubuntu’s getting, for some reason).
Along with this upgrade comes a new logo for Xubuntu, in both light and dark versions:
