Keeping with the current spate of nostalgia within (some) superhero comics comes news that DC is putting out a new line of books called “Retro-Active,” a series of one-shot books written by classic comic writers of the 70s, 80s and 90s.

I’m definitely looking forward to this line of books, or at least the 70s and 80s ones. (Not as big on the 90s…). Apparently the 60s weren’t an option (I assume many of the writers/artists of that decade are either permanently retired or deceased, and/or DC decided they didn’t want a 60s line). I look forward to reading Cary Bates on the Flash again, plus Martin Pasko on Superman, Gerry Conway on the JLA and Dennis O’Neil on Green Lantern.
