Comments

There’s a lot out in December, including plenty of trade paperbacks and graphic novels just in time for the holidays.

I don’t read “Chew,” but “Chew” #53 has an amusing Flintstones-parody cover.

The Donald Duck “Duck Avenger” stories are being reprinted in the US in a trade. “Paperinik,” as he’s known in the stories’ native Italy, is Donald’s Batman-like superhero alter-ego. Meanwhile, the “Rocky and Bullwinkle” TPB reprints the 60s Gold Key comic series.

Thom Zahler’s “Long Distance,” the romantic comedy about long distance relationships and midwestern states, is out in trade paperback.

“Archie: Collector’s Edition” reprints the first three issues of the rebooted “Archie” title. I assume they wanted something collecting this series out in time for the holidays. However, the first five or six issues will presumably be collected in a more standard trade at some point.

“Betty and Veronica Double Digest” features a new story about Archie and Valerie (of “Josie and the Pussycats”) dating.
