Lots of Sonic the Hedgehog this month, just in time for the holidays. Ditto another 1000-page book collection of stories, which I gather must be selling well.
It’s mostly Christmas themed stories this month, though other types of stories are seen as well, such as the return of the “United Girls Against Jughead” (UGAJ) in “Archie.” They’re a group of girls who try to combat Jughead’s supposedly negative effects on the boys of Riverdale, particularly in 60s and 70s stories. Since this issue (somehow) involves a “Harry Potter” parody/magic in general, I wonder if Sabrina will put in an appearance?
“The Fox,” another revival of an old MLJ superhero title, debuts this month. The series is co-written by comics great Mark Waid, so should be worth looking at for that reason alone.
Finally, “Afterlife With Archie” continues this month with its second issue, apparently involving a zombie-fied Jughead.
