Quick SettingsQuick Settings is a free Android app that offers convenient access to various basic phone settings.

While one could use the usual Android settings function, Quick Settings (as its name says) reduces the amount of menu-digging by putting the phone’s major functions in one screen. The functions offered include: ringer settings; volume; Bluetooth; airplane mode; wifi; and even phone tethering, if one’s carrier permits such.

The app works well for me, making it convenient to turn on or off wifi or put the phone in airplane mode.
