Comments
Comichron and Comics Beat state that sales were down from June 2016, probably stemming from how well DC’s Rebirth relaunch did. They also note July has a heavier number of trade paperbacks coming out.
Of course, these numbers look quite different from the recently released, overall 2016 sales figures. Those include bookstore and digital sales, giving a very different picture of what’s selling. (In summary, non-comic shop sales mainly stem from trades/graphic novels and kid-friendly material.)
