There’s now a trailer for the upcoming 2014 DreamWorks CGI movie “Mr. Peabody and Sherman,” based on the old “Peabody’s Improbable History” segment of “Rocky and Bullwinkle.” We now know what the voices for everyone will sound like. Peabody sounds reasonably like himself, while Sherman still has a little boy’s voice (though different sounding from the original series’ voice). Also in the film is Patrick Warburton (Kronk from “The Emperor’s New Groove,” plus various minor cartoon voices).
Looks like the film remembered Peabody and Sherman live in a big city’s penthouse apartment. Wonder if we’ll get an expanded version of the origin presented in the show’s very first episode; in case you missed it: Peabody adopts Sherman from an orphanage, and builds the WABAC Machine as a birthday gift/for historical excursions.
Enjoy…
