Word came earlier tonight that veteran comic artist Nick Cardy‘s passed away at the age of 93. Cardy was best known for his work for DC in the 60s and 70s, including the Teen Titans and Aquaman. The latter saw him serve as the co-creator of Black Manta, who’s probably superhero comics’ most well-known Black super-villain.
