Archie was a bit belated versus the other guys’ solicitations, but here’s what’s of interest for March 2012.

There’s a ton of Sonic the Hedgehog this month—trade paperbacks, hardcover collections, even Sonic (and Mega Man) as this year’s Free Comic Book Day offering by Archie. Fans of the classic video game character should be pleased!
Meanwhile in Archie-proper, this month is the 200th issue anniversary of the “Betty and Veronica” Double Digest. Sounds like an interesting story (Ronnie at a thrift clothing store).
There’s also the start of the “Archie marries Valerie” storyline. Still wondering what Valerie’s brother is like (especially if he intrigues Betty and Veronica)…
“Jughead” continues its (rather protracted) “Jughead moves in with all his friends and annoys them somehow/ruins it, forcing him to leave” storyline. Apparently Jughead’s gotten desperate by this point, as he’s rooming with Veronica of all people. I’ll assume he stops before hitting up the secondary characters besides Moose and Trula Tryst (Dilton, Chuck, Kevin, Raj, etc.)
Finally, Kevin’s second issue is out this month. This month’s issue is a prom-themed one… and from the sounds of it, they’ll be dispelling the cracks about Kevin being “the only gay guy in Riverdale.” I’ll assume they won’t go with “spoiled rich boy and nice ‘boy next door’ fight over Kevin,” amusing as that’d be…
