The second issue of the Batman ’66/Wonder Woman ’77 crossover flashes back to 10-year-old Bruce’s childhood. Assuming he’s 35 years old in 1966, that’d make him 10 years old in 1941, the dawn of the US’ entry into World War II. It’s also the setting of the first season of Diana’s TV show.
“Future Quest” promises more of Frankenstein, Jr., plus the Herculoids.
“Super Powers” focuses this month on Aquaman. It looks like the Sea King and Mera face off against Black Manta, who’s rejoined the Legion of Doom.
“Scooby-Doo Team-Up” this month teams up the gang with Quick Draw McGraw. We’ll also get El Kabong!
Trade paperback collections of “Bombshells,” “Astro City,” and “Looney Tunes” are out this month. There’s also a trade for the Batman ’66/”Avengers” (aka “Steed and Mrs. Peel”) crossover.
