Cartoon collectibles: Green Lantern figurine

Cartoon collectibles: Green Lantern figurine

This week’s cartoon collectible is a Green Lantern figurine, made by Funko:

As you can see, it’s a figurine, not a bobblehead, bought at the same collectible store I bought the Elmer Fudd bobblehead. The Green Lantern used here, of course, is Hal Jordan. I admit I wouldn’t be caught dead with a Kyle Rayner figurine, and it probably ties into the recent re-emphasis of DC on Hal, especially with a much-hyped movie coming up. Still, John Stewart or Alan Scott figurines would be nice!

The Funko figurine is also part of a line that includes the Flash, Wonder Woman, Batman (and several Batman enemies), and Superman (the figure I wanted, but they didn’t have). This covers five of DC’s biggest heroes. However, it would’ve been better if they could’ve produced figurines of the Martian Manhunter and Aquaman (and lost the Joker/Penguin/Riddler figurines) to round out the entire basic JLA roster.

Here’s some other photos of little Hal:
