“U.S.Avengers” leads January 2017 comic sales

January’s top selling comic features Squirrel Girl and her new teammates in “U.S.Avengers” #1. Meanwhile, Batman topped the trade paperback list.

DC put in a strong showing this month in the top 10, with the bimonthly “Batman” title coming in at #2 and #3. The odd-sounding “Justice League”/”Power Rangers” crossover also did well.

The only non-Big Two book in the top 10 is “The Walking Dead” #162.

“Batman” tops the trade list this month, while DC overall takes up half the top 10 list. Image fills four slots, while Marvel’s sole entry is the “Star Wars” Han Solo miniseries.
